Beauty products nowadays promise to make us look radiant and younger. It seems that everywhere you turn, there’s a product with antioxidants. Generally, we know that these chemicals are particularly good when eaten but they can also be beneficial on your skin. Watch this to learn more on how antioxidants can protect your skin.

One product that has recently caught my eye is the Clearasil Spot Blocker Pen and I’m keen to try it.
I haven’t purchased any clearasil products in ages, simply because of claims that they would be too aggressive for sensitive skin. I’m hoping their skin line has now taking a liking towards delicate and sensitive skin.
Product claims:
The maximum strength spot fighting ingredient in this convenient pen starts working on contact to help stop spots in their tracks.
The clear, fast-absorbing formula penetrates deep into the pore to effectively fight the spot at its source, before it appears! It also helps clear existing spots by visibly reducing the redness and spot size. The pen is easily portable, making it easy to use on the go, anytime!
Bronzers are great to get a little colour and shimmer on the face. A foundation alone can leave you looking incredibly bland and monotonous. Bronzer gives you that extra sparkle! Applying it isn’t all that difficult, as this video by Expertvillage demonstrates:
In general, I’m not a foundation person. I’ve heard too many horror stories about make up clogging up pores and causing premature aging. Sure, there’s a whole lot of myths spread around using foundation.
While I choose to hardly ever wear liquid foundation, I could become really fond of the Bare Escentuals mineral powder. It seems to add a nice finish.
The cheapest can be found on eBay but make sure to check the seller feedback before buying.
Bare Escentuals foundation, made from pure, crushed minerals, provides coverage like a cream but feels silky and light because it’s a powder. The long lasting coverage is great for all skin types and conditions because it’s gentle and free of skin irritants and has the benefits of UVA/UVB protection.
Obviously it depends on how much you put on and be aware that the SPF 15 actually doesn’t provide the full protection. If I had to guess I would say you only get a SPF 1 out of the powder. Therefore wearing an additional sun screen is a smart idea.
I love video make up tutorials. The best source would certainly have to be YouTube.
Since a gal needs variety, I’ve recently stocked up on my make up supplies. One of the best purchases I have made lately was the 120 Pro palette off eBay. 120 eye shadows in a nifty box for a few quid.
This was definitely worth it as a lot of looks can easily be recreated using this palette. Love it.
YouTube has become one of my favourites. Especially for make up tutorials. The enormous amount of how-to video clips is extremely useful as you usually find everything you are looking for.
One of the most popular YouTubers to create amazing content is panacea81 - if you get the chance, check out her YouTube channel for lots of cool make up tutorials.
