Supermarket chain Asda today launches an Asian clothing range, thought to be the first collection of its kind available on the High Street.
The clothes, part of the George at Asda line, are a response to demand from the supermarkets’ ethnic customers for affordable authentic clothing.
The 13-piece collection includes sequinned embellished salwar kameez (traditional suits), khurtas (tunics), dapata (scarves) and churidar (slim leg trousers).
Not particularly my style, but there’s obviously demand for it.

If you’re wondering what aging Oasis singer Liam Gallagher has been up to, wonder no more: the singer has spent months hyping working on fashion label Pretty Green.
We never imagined Liam to be a “fashion designer”, but there you have it, Pretty Green’s shop is now online and feature items such as t-shirts, hats, scarves, polos and jackets.
The designs look quite plain, almost irrelevant and for £55 a scarf, one may consider twice buying anything.

Red heels are incredibly sexy. This year, I can see them backing a big comeback. These are a few picks that are really gorgeous and cheap!

Spring is almost here and there’s a lot of things to look forward to this year. Spring and summer fashion is usually a big highlight for me. While I don’t buy into each and every fad/trend, I think maxi dresses are a great choice in 2009!
Here are some I really like:
Gardenia Flower Silk Dress by Monsoon Originals £185
Pricey but oh so lovely!
One shouldered maxi dress, £35, from Asos.com
greek goddess anyone? Cool and for a small budget.
Yellow/gold paisley print maxi dress, £45, from Dorothy Perkins
something pretty, great for the summer evening!

While winter isn’t my favourite time of the year, I was actually looking forward to pull out all the chunky knitwear.
This is definitely looking pretty and not just in 2008. Chunky knits are my favourite winter essentials to stay comfy and warm in freezing temperatures.
The only downside is the massive amount of space a few chunky pieces fill up but who care when you’re all cozy and warm.
