Fans of the hit series Desperate Housewives will have something to look forward to… or not: Nicollette Sheridan, who plays the Fairview slapper Edie Britt, is to exit the show in a dramatic car crash.

The Daily Mail has posted some pictures of the upcoming show.

Sheridan’s character is reported to be killed off by her on-screen husband in a car crash involving an electric wire.

The DailyMail also reports that the 45-year old actress could be making a return sometime in the future.

Well, looking forward to see what the rest of the season brings but everything’s possible in Desperate Housewives suburbia.

You may have heard about Madonna’s Malawi adoption plans. She reportedly wants to adopt a little girl, Mercy James, and has flown out to Africa to start the adoption proceedings.

There has been a lot of criticism when Madonna adopted David Banda and many people called for the boy to remain in his home country.

Madonna has now again come under fire as she prepares for the new addition to the family.

The singer has been accused of using her fame to speed up the legal process and bending the countries adoption rules to her advantage. We can almost certainly assume she has.

Whether or not it seems a good or humane idea to adopt this little girl is arguable. Gathering from the controversy surrounding the happening, most people seem to hold the opinion that this is a very unethical approach and Madonna should rather support children locally instead of adopting.

I really don’t get the justice system.  Pete Doherty is set to be released early from prison after serving only a third of his sentence.

So he got a 14 week jail term, finally, but served only 29 days! The junkie singer was jailed on April 8 after defying orders to take drug tests during a suspended sentence for heroin possession.

The reason for his early release, a dumb government a scheme introduced last summer to ease jail overcrowding. The Daily Mail reports that he plans to throw a huge party and “get smashed” once he’s out. Good luck to him.

Anyone who thinks he’s “cool” or even a “role model” has seriously got a screw loose. I think he’ll just carry on doing what he’s been doing best, pumping drugs into his body. Nobody should come out that early. What a disgusting creature.

I think the red doesn’t look too bad on her, but no hair colour in the world can disguise her wacky personality though.

After these pictures appeared in the press we thought Lisa Marie Presley was another victim of junk food and a lack of exercise and general hygiene (also known as the Britney-Syndrome) but she says she’s actually not fat, just pregnant.

Confirmation under the gun.

After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant.
Once they got a glimpse of my expanding physique a few days ago, they have been like a pack of coyotes circling their prey whilst eerily howling with delight. Starting with a London publication and then New York and Chicago all writing false defamatory degrading stories about all of the dark possible reasons I could be putting on weight. The US tabloids have been calling all day wanting confirmation on all kinds of insane theories.
They couldn’t wait to find out if my weight gain was because I was just overeating, in which case It would be open season and they can do the old following in her fathers sad and unfortunate demise story again or less interesting for them and probably much to their dismay, I could just be pregnant and therefore have a legitimate reason for weight gain at which point they should probably wipe the saliva off of their fangs and put them back in their mouths or they may expose the black little souls that they are.
Now that things are confirmed, hopefully they can stop all of the harassment and I can stop dodging the continuous bullets.
It is unfortunate that I couldn’t have announced something that is this much of a blessing and that has made us so incredibly happy under better circumstances.
How they have handled themselves with this has been nothing short of irresponsible and disgusting.
Pardon my seething contemptuous tone but ladies, You KNOW if you were pregnant and you felt you were expanding uncontrollably by the moment as a result and the worldwide media started badgering and harassing you for it, plastering you everywhere in an unflattering light, you would be mortified as well.

Patrick Swayze has pancreatic cancer. The news has been spread throughout the net and news stations worldwide. Reports that he only has a few weeks left to live appear to be wrong and Swayze’s doctor issued a statement:

“Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic. Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects. The outpouring of support and concern he has already received from the public is deeply appreciated by Patrick and his family.”

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most deadly forms with a survival rate of less than five percent and according to the National Enquirer, the cancer has already spread to his vital organs.
